We live in a very stressful time. Media overload brings the local and international turbulence right inside the safety of our homes. We are addicted to following it all. We don’t want to miss anything. This is overwhelming because it keeps us in trauma mode even if its not our own trauma. We need to feel safe in order to move through our daily life schedules with focus, perseverance, and positivity. We need to feel happy and at peace in order to regroup and refresh ourselves. How can the outside bombardment of worrisome details be put in their proper perspective?
Being aware of worldly happenings is important as long as it is observed and not internalized. The world is still very much a safe place.
